         Jim's Review:

There have been many shark movies from Jaws in the 70's to Deep Blue Sea 90's to Bait (Australia Film 2012) The Shallows  starring Blake Lively takes the perspective of jaws to whole new level.  Paying homage to original Jaws of 1975.

You have only one person facing off with the shark and cast of interesting collaborators.  Steve the Seagull (shown in previews) and some other timely animals show case the paradise beach for its tranquility and picturesque scenery to entirely new level.

The movie builds momentum from the beginning and has you guessing all they way until the end. Persistence, strategy and smart thinking are all showcased in this film. What would you do? question will come to mind as you watch this film unfold.

Great summer film to watch give you a break from all the superhero movies being released in the coming weeks.

Worth the watch 8 of 10

 Until next time..
