Movie Review: Spectre

Spectre has also got a significance in its title like Skyfall (Bond’s house in Scotland). SPECTRE stands for Special Executive for Counter- Intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion. The film begins with “The Dead Are Alive”.

A mysterious message from the past of Bond (Daniel Craig) sends him on a trail to Rome and Mexico, where he encounters Lucia, the gorgeous widow (Monica Bellucci) of an infamous criminal. Bond discovers a threatening organization (SPECTRE) after infiltrating a secret meeting. Back in Britain, M (Ralph Fiennes) battles political forces, led by MI5 Head Max Denbeigh (Andrew Scott), to keep the British Secret Service alive.

 Meanwhile, Bond ventures and deciphers the secret layers of Spectre, with the help of the daughter of an old nemesis, to find a chilling connection between himself and the villain (Christoph Waltz). The film also stars Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Ben Whishaw as the Gadget King Q and Lea Seydoux in substantial roles.
