Gloom and doom or bigger and better in Real Estate?
Depending on
whose opinion you follow, we are either on the edge of a cataclysmic
correction in real estate, or a continuation (albeit at a slower pace)
of the market's growth. As a perennial optimist, and as a Mortgage Agent
with a vested self-interest (!!) I am a firm believer in the latter.
With continued low interest rates and the Bank of Canada not likely to
make any precipitous upward moves any time soon, I think any correction
in housing sales will be a minor one. An article in today's Toronto Star
by Susan Pigg would seem to affirm this:
