Journey to Diamond Estate Wines(Niagara on the Lake)

On Friday September 28 had the great opportunity to visit the Diamond Estate Winery at Niagara on the Lake part of package offered at conference I was invited to hear Courtney Carrol Author of  The Financial Fitness Blueprint (will share on future post).

This particular winery has amazing assortment of wines that we had the opportunity to taste. We learned how the wines are made and the way they are handled depending on the weather conditions. Importance on how technology has affected the growth of grapes, there are wind mills that have been specifically created to keep the grapes and peak state of harvest throughout the year.

 Dan Aykroyd (actor and entrepreneur) has his own line of  wines that are made at the winery. He has made an significant investment in the Diamond Estate Winery for many years.

Moral of the story:  Lots of lessons to be learned about various places in your area. I learned the new wine term "Masurate"  (check dictionary to see meaning)
